Since becoming a Limited Company in 1999, Celtic Welcomes has grown from strength to strength. With incoming tours to Scotland and Ireland firmly established, the Company founded its outbound travel wing, European Welcomes, in 2002 and this website marked the launch of its individual travel and accommodation business.

On 1st March 2009, in its 10th year of operation, Celtic Welcomes joined forces with one of the UK’s leading inbound tour operators – Worcester based Discover Travel & Tours. Celtic Welcomes founding Managing Director, Diana Thomson, continues to be based in Scotland, dedicated to looking after Celtic Welcomes customers and their tour requirements with the support of Discover Travel’s larger but very customer friendly organisation.

Discover Travel & Tours can trace their origins back to 1977 and have a wealth of product knowledge and tour experience of all of the UK and have secured some outstanding group travel offers in London and other key English locations. Celtic Welcomes customers will be able to benefit from this product expertise with the launch of a new Heart of England product range.
